Time to get healthy ...



The 12-week get healthy/fitness challenge sponsored by the newspaper I work for officially starts Jan. 8 but the blogging by the men's and women's teams has started. I mentioned it in an earlier post here. This new challenge will be replacing the Meltdown Monday feature that I have neglected.

replace the blue cheese dressing with real blue cheese - its a whole food without the added fats and calories of a dressing. you also won't eat as much of it but you'll still have the flavor. Don't miss breakfast. Stop drinking diet sodas and diet drinks - they trick your brain into thinking its getting calories and then you end up overeating to satisfy the self-inflicted craving. Eat whole natural foods and get lots of exercise. You will start unclogging your arteries, be less tired and out of breath.

Good luck, Jeffrey. You could probably drop a quick 5 pounds by shaving your toes and taking out all of those earrings.
