whre did you hear of her?
She won several awards at the British Grammy's a couple weeks ago. She has a bad drug and alcohol problem - recently dropped down to a super skinny anorexic covered in bruises, etc. Hot mess, but very talented. Her older material is very jazz/blues - this new album was her first more mainstream material.
Catchy. I kind of like it.
She sounds like she was born in the wrong decade. I like her.
I picked up on her sound after I got a couple of songs of hers from one of the mp3 blogs I read (links are in the right hand rail). She make great songs...
And her voice is just plain old hottttttt
