Where are you going in such a hurry?

So I was on my way to work today when I crested a small rise in a road only to see one of these staring at me. He turned around pretty fast, hit his lights and pulled me over. I was so close to the Delaware state line -- about 200 yards -- I actually thought of just gunning it and making him chase me across a state line. I have no idea why I even thought that. Anyway, he wrote me up for doing 44 in a 35 mph zone ... $80 ticket. He said I was doing quite a bit more than that. Who am I to argue with him? Let's just say that was the best thing that happened to me all day.
